There are 32 UK medical schools and all have individual admissions processes. All of them are looking for bright, enthusiastic and motivated students who will take studying medicine seriously.

It usually takes 5 or 6 years to train to become a doctor, which may seem like a long time, but the effort will be worth it and during the latter years of training, the studying and learning is almost completely hospital-based and more work-related andinteresting.
